Virgil Willard Krantz
Virgil Willard Krantz, 88, of Washington, died Sunday, May 16, 2004, at Washington County Hospital, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 20, at Evangelical Lutheran Church in Swedesburg, with the Rev. Phil Borleske officiating. Burial will be in Swedesburg Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Wednesday, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with family present from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Swedesburg Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Mr. Krantz was born on March 31, 1916, in Olds, to John V. and Jennie (Peterson) Krantz. He married Mary M. Jones in Swedesburg on Feb. 4, 1938.
