Virginia Burton Grimes

      KEOTA - Virginia Burton Grimes, 90, of Apple Valley, Minn. formerly of Keota, died Monday, March 12, 2007 in the Augustana Health Care Center of Apple Valley, following a lengthy illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 17 in the United Church of Faith in Keota with the Rev. Bob Wollenberg officiating. Burial will be in Keota Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday in the Powell Funeral Home in Keota. Memorials may be made to the United Church of Faith in Keota.

      Mrs. Grimes was born Oct. 28, 1916 in Higbee, Mo., the daughter of Thomas R. and Eunice Mae (Kennedy) Burton. She married D. M. Grimes on Dec. 19, 1937. She later married E. J. (Andy) Mormann in August 1969 in Kahoka, Mo.
