Virginia Crane
SILVIS, Ill. - Virginia Crane, 78, of East Moline, Ill., died Monday, Feb. 25, 2008, in St. Anthony's Continuing Care Center in Rock Island.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1 in Schroder Mortuary in Silvis. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, the American Cancer Society or Gilda's Club Quad Cities.
Mrs. Crane was born Jan. 24, 1930, in Washington, the daughter of Harold and Lona (Cooper) Messenger. She married Lawrence Crane on April 9, 1951 in Westchester, Calif.
