Virginia E. Davison

      Virginia E. Davison, 83, of Washington, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008, in the Washington County Hospital following a short illness.

      Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, in the Jones-Eden Funeral Home with the Rev. Colton Clay officiating. Burial will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday in the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Washington County Hospital Foundation.

      Mrs. Davison was born May 23, 1925 in Washington, the daughter of John Kerr and Clara Blanche (Huffman) Sowash. She married Kenneth H. Davison on July 5, 1941 in Kahoka, Mo.
