Virginia Lovern 'Ginny' Forbes
Virginia Lovern "Ginny" Forbes, 71, of Conesville, died Monday, June 6, 2005, at her home.
Celebration of Life services will begin at 6 p.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2005, at the Forbes family farm near Cone Marsh. The Stacy-Lewis funeral home in Columbus Junction is handling arrangements. Memorials have been established for Iowa City Hospice and Conesville Fire and Rescue.
Mrs. Forbes was born Feb. 27, 1934, in Conesville, to John B. and Inez M. (Lauderdale) Keeler. On Sept. 9, 1951, she married Leroy A. "Bub" Forbes in Iowa City.
