Virginia M. Hartman November 4, 1935 - November 12, 2003

      Virginia M. "Ginny" Hartman, 68, of Morning Sun, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, at her home.

      A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 17 in the Elmwood Cemetery in Morning Sun, with the Rev. Chris Thomas officiating. There will be no visitation according to her wishes. The body will be cremated. Following the service, the family will meet with friends for a lunch and fellowship at Morning Sun United Methodist Church. Memorials have been established for the Morning Sun Fire Department and Ambulance Service and Mount Union Fire and Rescue Department.

      Survivors include one daughter, Shelley Sternat of Mt. Union; four grandchildren; and two brothers, Delmar Johnston of Morning Sun and Dal Johnston of Texas.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one half brother and one half sister.
