Virginia McKee

Virginia Maxine McKee, 75, of Morning Sun, died Monday morning, Sept. 27, 2004, at Morning Sun Care Center.

      The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 1 at Hagele and Honts Funeral Home in Morning Sun, with the Rev. Brent Smith officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30 at the funeral home, with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. A memorial has been established.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Murray and Connie Turner, both of Morning Sun; two sons, Jim McKee of West Burlington, and Randall McKee of New London; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Carolyn Adams of Winfield.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a great-grandson and two brothers.
