Virginia P. Swartzendruber
KALONA - Virginia P. Swartzendruber, 85, of Kalona died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006 in Pleasantview Home after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 31 in Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona with the Rev. Lynn Patrick officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. The body was donated to science. Burial will be at a later date in Sharon Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Pleasantview Home and Kalona First Responders.
Mrs. Swartzendruber was born May 15, 1921 in Washington, the daughter of Curtis A. and Blanche (Banks) Snyder. She married Gail Swartzendruber on June 12, 1941 in Kahoka, Mo.
