Virginia R. Galloway

LONE TREE - Virginia R. Galloway, 81, of Lone Tree, died Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, in the Lone Tree Health Care Center in Lone Tree following an extended illness.

      A private graveside service in the Lone Tree Cemetery will be held at a later date with Parish Life Coordinator Carol Kaalberg officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7 in the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Lone Tree. Memorials may be made to the Amenity Hospice of Cedar Rapids.

      Mrs. Galloway was born July 29, 1927, in Johnson County, the daughter of George W. and Goldie (Stevens) Smith. She married Elmer James Galloway Jr. on July 27, 1947 in Nichols.
