Virginia Rae Streed

      Virginia Rae Streed, 74, of Keosauqua, died Thursday, March 29, 2007, at Van Buren County Hospital and Clinics.

      A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Michael Renken officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

      A Book of Condolence may be signed after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Visitation, with the family present, will be from 6:30-8 p.m.

      Memorials may be made to TENCO Industries Inc. and ARC of Jefferson and Nearby Counties. Cards and memorials may be sent to Beverly Blakley, 13499 Eagle Drive, Douds 52551.

      Ms. Streed was born Feb. 28, 1933, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Earl Charles and Thelma Allene Bridgeman Streed.
