Vivian Dolores Dorothy, 83, of Douds, died Monday, July 11, 2011, at her daughter?s home in Douds.??

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Keosauqua United Methodist Church.??

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Lacey-Keosauqua Park Lodge.

Mrs. Dorothy was born Sept. 20, 1927, near Stockport, the daughter of Harry and Ethel Harlan Wise. She married Bill B. Dorothy, and they later divorced.

Survivors include four children: Jean McIntosh of Douds, Robert J. Dorothy and wife Marge of Puyallup, Wash., Julie Shannan of Mesa, Ariz., and Bill Dorothy and Ronald Skinner of St. Louis, Mo.; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
