Vivian Lucille Hobbs
Vivian Lucille Hobbs, 87, of Lowell, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007 at the Henry County Health Center.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 22 at the Elliott Chapel in New London. Interment will be held in Lowell Cemetery. Friends may call after noon Tuesday at Elliott Chapel. The family will receive friends, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A memorial has been established to the Lowell Street Light Fund.
Mrs. Hobbs was born Oct. 8, 1919 in Talleyrand, the daughter of Thomas and Goldie Derby Lankford. On August 30, 1935 she married "Pete" Hobbs in Fairfield. She attended school at Richland.
