W. Raymond Long
W. Raymond Long, age 93 of Winfield, died Thursday December 4, at Sunrise Terrace Care Center in Winfield.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8, at Honts Funeral Home in Winfield. Family will be present beginning at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Winfield United Methodist Church. A funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Nancy Bender officiating. Burial will follow at the Winfield-Scott Township Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for the Winfield First Responders.
He was born June 14, 1915 at Mt. Pleasant, the son of William and Elizabeth Krone Long. On Dec. 24, 1935, he married Mildred Meeker in Winfield
