Walker H. Evans
Walker H. Evans, 95, of Winfield, died Thursday morning, April 18, 2002, at the Washington County Hospital.
A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 22, at the Winfield First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Elwin Colson officiating. A private family inurnment service will take place at the Winfield-Scott Township Cemetery. The body has been cremated and there will be no visitation. A time of fellowship and lunch will follow the service. Memorials have been established to the Winfield Public Library, Winfield First Presbyterian Church and Sunrise Terrace Care Center. Honts Funeral Home of Winfield is in charge of the arrangements.
