Walter 'Dean' Jeffries
Walter "Dean" Jeffries, 73, of Washington died Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, in his home in Washington following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, in the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Darryl Carr officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the service. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to ABATE or a general memorial.
Mr. Jeffries was born Feb. 18, 1934, in Maryville, Tenn., the son of Charles H. and Merle (Pryor) Jeffries. He married Lila Toomey on Jan. 2, 1960, in Washington.
