Walter J. Fritz

BRIGHTON ? Walter J. Fritz, 83, of Brighton, died Tuesday, July 7, 2009, in the Washington Care Center following a short illness.

    Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 13, at Ss. Joseph and Cabrini Catholic Church in East Pleasant Plain with the Rev. Paul J. Appel officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Sunday at the church with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m., followed by Prayers for a Christian Wake at 7:30 p.m.  Memorials have been established for St. Joseph Cemetery Association or Hospice of Washington County.  Gould Funeral Home in Brighton is in charge of arrangements.

    Mr. Fritz was born June 22, 1926, in Brighton, the son of Michael E. and Gertrude E. (Arndt) Fritz.  He married Donna June Krotz on April 28, 1962, in Washington.
