Walter James Lyons
Walter James Lyons, 72, of West Burlington died at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10, 1999, at Burlington Medical Center.
Services will be held at a later date with burial in the National Cemetery at Arsenal Island with full military honors. Family will receive friends from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 15, for a potluck dinner at the home of Rick and Kathy Myers in Gulfport, Ill. Mr. Lyons had deeded his body to the University of Iowa.
