Wanda L. Martin

      Wanda L. Martin, 74, of Washington, died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, in the Washington Care Center following a lengthy illness.

      Funeral services have been set for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, in the United Methodist Church in Washington with the Rev. Julie Poulsen officiating. Burial will be in the Brighton Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday in the Beatty Funeral home in Washington where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Washington County.

      Mrs. Martin was born Oct. 12, 1933, in Brighton, the daughter of Raymond Ellis and Lovina Lydia (Galles) Walton. She married Freddie E. Martin on Nov. 1, 1952, in Washington.
