Warren Duncan Switzer

      Warren Duncan Switzer, 88, of Fairfield, died Thursday, May 29, 2008, at home.

      A Celebration of Life service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Jim Luder officiating. A private family burial will follow at Switzer Cemetery. Following Mr. Switzer's wishes, cremation was accorded.

      Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

      Memorials may be made, in lieu of flowers, to Hospice of Central Iowa. Cards and memorials may be sent to 2396 Salina Road, Fairfield 52556.

      Mr. Switzer was born Nov. 17, 1919, in Fairfield, the son of Clarence David and Annie Elizabeth Duncan Switzer. He married Mary Maxine Jones May 22, 1943, in Fairfield.
