Warren Yoder

WELLMAN ? Warren B. Yoder, 63, of Wellman, died Sunday, Aug. 9, 2015.

A celebration of life service will be at 4 p.m., Friday, Aug. 14, at the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the time of the service, Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Yoder was born Sept. 15, 1951, in Washington, the son of Ernest M. and Velma (Swartzendruber) Yoder.

He graduated from the Mid-Prairie High School in 1970. He was a carpenter and independent contractor. He lived in Ankeny until moving back to the Wellman area in 2012. He enjoyed spending time with family and socializing.

Surviving are three sisters, Dot Bullock and husband Jerry of Maquoketa, Janet Miller and husband Dave of Blairstown, and Janice Myers and husband Steve of Santa Teresa, N.M.; and one brother, Walter Yoder of Wellman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Robert Palmer.
