Wayne B. Wells

Wayne B. Wells, 82, of Grand Island, Neb., formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, at the Tabitha Nursing Home in Lincoln Neb.

Visitation began at 2 p.m. today, Dec. 22, at Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Herb Shafer officiating. Burial will be at Salem East Cemetery, with full military honors conducted by the Henry County Honor Guard.

He was born April 9, 1926, in Lincoln, the son of Elery and Pauline Motter Wells. On Aug. 30, 1947, he married Mary Jean Moehle in Mt. Pleasant.
