Wayne D. Tompkins, 87, of Des Moines, died Wednesday, June 13, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at the Honts Funeral Home in Winfield. A graveside service will follow at the Winfield-Scott Township Cemetery, with the Rev. Nancy Bender officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the International Essential Tremor Foundation in Lenexa, Kan.
