Wayne E. Geyer

      KALONA-Wayne E. Geyer, 75, of Oxford, died Tuesday, March 20, 2007, near Holbrook, from injuries suffered in a tractor accident.

      Celebration of life services were held at 10:30 a.m. today at West Union Mennonite Church in Parnell, with the Rev. Mark Jagnow officiating. Burial took place prior to the services at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Joetown. Memorials may be made for Wyndham Community Church, Parnell First Responders, or Williamsburg Volunteer Fire Department. Peterseim Funeral Service in Kalona handled the arrangements.

      Mr. Geyer was born on March 27, 1931, in Keota, to Wilbur and Edna (Webster) Geyer. He married Shirley Yoder on March 22, 1953. She preceded him in death in 2000.
