Wayne E. Lewis
CEDAR RAPIDS - Wayne E. Lewis, 91, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, in St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, in Cedar memorial Park Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids. Burial with military rites will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Wellman Cemetery. Visitation will begin one hour before the funeral services in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Camp Courageous of Iowa.
Mr. Lewis was born June 27, 1917, in Wellman, the son of James and Ruth (Gerber) Lewis. He married Maxine Gillespie on Jan. 10, 1942 in Omaha, Neb.
