Wayne H. Newman

Wayne H. Newman, 87, of Burlington, formerly of Keosauqua and Stockport, died at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at Great River Medical Center in Burlington.

      A service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Dean Graber officiating. Burial with military rites by the Beer-Barker Post will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Cantril.

      Open visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 10-11 a.m. Friday.

      Memorials to Maple Grove Cemetery or Great River Hospice in Burlington may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 1031 S. Garfield, Burlington 52601.
