Wayne Lamonte Miller was born November 29, 1925, in rural Johnson County, the son of Murrie S. and Katie (Marner) Miller. Wayne was united in marriage to Audrey Brenneman on December 24, 1946. He was a life-long farmer in the Wellman area. Wayne passed away on Tuesday, October 23 ,2018, at the Pleasantview Home in Kalona at the age of 92 years.

Wayne is survived by three children: Kenton (Barb) Miller of Iowa City, Dennis (Rosie) Miller of Wellman, Laurel (Sid) Rowland of Wellman; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, a sister Pauline Yoder of Kalona, and in-laws: Clair (Faye) Brenneman of Colorado and Nita Erb of Kalona. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Audrey, brother Stanley and grandson Andrew.

Celebration of Life Service will be 10:30 am Monday, October 29, 2018 at Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church. Burial will be held in the Lower Deer Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at the Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona.
