Wayne Ordell Wolfe

      Wayne Ordell Wolfe, 84, of Washington, Iowa, died Thursday, March 27, 2008, at his residence after failing in health.

      A Celebration of Life service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, Iowa, with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating.

      Visitation will begin noon Monday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m.

      Interment, with military honors conducted by Washington American Legion Post 29, will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington.

      A memorial has been established for Hospice of Washington County.

      Mr. Wolfe was born Sept. 14, 1923, in Artesian, S.D., the son of Verner and Glenna Henry Wolfe. He married Elizabeth M. Varney May 17, 1942, in Kahoka, Mo.
