Wayne Robert Watson

Wayne Robert Watson, age 68 of Stockport, passed away at his home on Sunday, December 16, 2012.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Cards and memorials can be sent to 11523 Willow Road, Stockport, Iowa 52651.

Wayne was born on May 19, 1944 in Stockport to Elvin and Pauline Douglas Watson. He married Zenaida Cruz on December 2, 1989 in the Philippines.

He was a retired factory worker and had farmed his whole life on the family farm. His passion was restoring old tractors and liked airplanes. He traveled to Oshkosh, Wisconsin to watch the air shows.

Wayne is survived by his wife: Zenaida of Stockport, 2 children: Linda (Bill) Dains of Donnellson and Angela (Carl) Haffner of Albia, 4 grandchildren: Jessica Hartwell, Crystal Cosgrove, Daniel Haffner and Caleb Haffner, 1 step-grandchild: Tonya Harvey, 3 great-grandchildren and 1 brother: Jerry Watson of Lockridge.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Elvin Carrol Watson and Pauline A. Watson.
