Wayne Vincent Parsons
Wayne Vincent Parsons, 79, Burlington, died at 7:45 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2001, at his home.
Full military rites by VFW Post 10102 will precede the 7 p.m. memorial service Thursday, May 24 at Lunning Chapel with Dr. Dennis Tevis officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Burge Cemetery at New London. An organ donation has been received by the University of Iowa for scientific research. The body has been cremated. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Thursday, May 24 at the chapel with family present from 6 to 7 p.m. A memorial has been established for the First United Methodist Church choir.
