Wendell Dale Pirtle

Wendell Dale Pirtle, 82, of SunnyBrook Assisted Living, died at 10:48 p.m. April 3, 2005, at Jefferson County Hospital.

      The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 8 at Behner Funeral home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Harlan "Frosty" Van Voorst officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield, with military rites. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 Thursday, April 7 at the funeral home, with family present. Survivors include a daughter, Anita Ann Pirtle Loving and her husband Robert of Fairfield; two granddaughters; two nieces; Rachel May of Mt. Pleasant, Rebecca Prior of Eau Claire, Wis., one nephew; Randy Westbrook of Fairfield.

      In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Juanita Westbrook; an infant brother; and an infant son, Patrick Owen Pirtle.
