Wesley 'Wes' Freel
KALONA - Wesley "Wes" Freel, 67, of rural Wellman, died Monday, Sept. 9, 2002, in Longview, Wash., following a sudden illness.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at First Baptist Church in Wellman, with the Rev. Gene Carpenter officiating. Burial will be in Wellman Public Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and all day Friday at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, where the family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Memorials may be directed to the Wellman First Baptist Church or Wellman Ambulance.
