Wi lm a Mari e Steele
Wi lm a Mari e Steele, 77, died of natural causes on December 20, 2006. Visitation will be Wednesday,
December 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brooks Funeral Care ~ University Chapel. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m.
Thursday, December 28, at the West Des Moines United Methodist Church. Following the service, Wilma wished for her body to be cremated. Burial of her remains will be at a later date in Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines.
Wi l m a w a s b o r n i n Humeston, Iowa on July 25,
1929. After living in Washington, Iowa, Wilma moved to
West Des Moines 44 years ago.
