Wilda Downey

Wilda Downey passed away July 20, 2010 at the Van Buren County Hospital.

  Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2010, at the United Methodist Church in Fairfield with Rev. Mike Metz officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

  Visitation with family present will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Fairfield.

  Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Fairfield, Iowa.

Wilda Lorene Downey was born April 21, 1915 to Frank and Dollie Schwartz Hoffman. She graduated from Bonaparte High School in 1933. She was married May 24, 1934 to Bennett Cecil Downey. He preceded her in death on Jan 6, 1988.
