Willa M. Church

Willa M. Church, 77, of Mount Pleasant, formerly of Lockridge, died Friday evening, April 24, 2009, at Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant.

A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Murphy Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Jerry Phillips officiating. Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery in rural Rome, Iowa.

Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.  

A memorial has been established in Mrs. Church?s memory.

Mrs. Church was born Nov. 10, 1931, in Mount Pleasant, the daughter of Max E. and Ruby L. Parker Woods. She married Howard R. Church June 16, 1947, in Mount Pleasant. He preceded her in death.
