Willa M. Jamison

      Willa M. Jamison, 99, of New London, formerly of Cantril, died at 9:25 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, 2007, at New London Care Center.

      A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Cantril Christian Church, with the Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Cantril.

      No visitation at Pedrick Funeral Home is planned. A lunch with the family will follow Friday's service at the church.

      Memorials to Cantril Christian Church may be brought to the service or mailed to the family at PO Box 232, Danville 52623.

      Mrs. Jamison was born Sept. 22, 1908, south of Milton, the daughter of David C. and Katherine Parkins Gilchrist. She married Lester Fisher May 30, 1936. They later divorced. She married Ralph Lloyd Jamison Jan. 23, 1960. He died Feb. 16, 1993.
