William A. Huffman

Pastor William A. Huffman, 88, of Cantril, died at 1:30 a.m. Feb. 2, 2005, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

      A private family graveside service will be held Friday, Feb. 4 in Purdom Cemetery in Keosauqua. There will be no visitation. Memorials to the Douglas Children's Foundation may be mailed to the family at P.O. Box 121, Cantril, IA 52542. Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his wife; five sons, David, Robert, Gary and William Jr., all in California, and Timothy of Cantril; five daughters, Patricia and Terri Huffman in California, Sharon Box of Ashland, Miss., Brenda Blackard of New Haven, Miss., and Mary Adams of Mt. Pleasant; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Linda Lakeland of Nashua, and Sarah Carruthers of Pahrum, Nev.

      He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
