William 'Bill Van Sickle Jr.

      KEOTA - William "Bill Van Sickle Jr., 87, of Keota, died Sunday, May 18, 2008, in the Washington County Hospital in Washington following a sudden illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, in the Powell Funeral Home in Keota with the Rev. John Hembry officiating. Burial will be in the Keota Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home, where the family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m. A general memorial fund has been established.

      Mr. Van Sickle was born Nov. 1, 1920, in West Chester, the son of William and Irma (Tansey) Van Sickle. He married Marjorie Wright on Dec. 29, 1947 in Keota.
