William C. Palmer

      William C. Palmer, 79, of Washington and formerly of Newton, Kan., died at 6:50 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2001 at the Halcyon House Health Center in Washington.

      The funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 3, at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Newton, Kan. with Fr. Ken Schuckman officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary?s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, April 2, at the Petersen Family Funeral Home in Newton. A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Mary?s Catholic Church, after which the family will receive friends. A memorial has been established to St. Mary?s Catholic Church. Local arrangements are by Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel of Mt. Pleasant.
