William Dean Boley

William Dean Boley, 87, of Stockport, died 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2000, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

The funeral service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2000, at the Hillsboro Baptist Church, with the Revs. Ed Newman and David Doerr officiating. Burial will be in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, July 21, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Behner Funeral Home with family present. Memorials may be made to the Hillsboro Baptist Church.

Mr. Boley was born January 29, 1913, in Van Buren County, the son of John William and Sarah Jane McCracken Boley. He graduated from Hillsboro High School and was a self-employed farmer all of his life in Cedar Township of Van Buren County. A veteran of the US Army Air Corps during World War II, he was a member of the Hillsboro Baptist Church and Hillsboro American Legion Post.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Ida Bloomquist, Beulah Boley, Norene Boley, and Irene Boley; and three brothers, Nicholas, Lewis, and Mack Boley.
