William E. Baker
William E. "Bill" Baker, 82, of Mt. Pleasant, formerly of New London, died Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2005, at Arbor Court in Mt. Pleasant.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9 at Elliott Chapel, with Pastor Sam Reighard officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Danville. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8 at Elliott Chapel in New London, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established to Hospice of Central Iowa.
Mr. Baker was born Jan. 21, 1923, in Milton, the son of William O. and Viola Grace Jackson Baker.
