William E. Peiffer

SEATTLE, Wash. ? William ?Bill? Edward Peiffer, 67, of Seattle, Washington, died Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, at his home of complications from cancer.

A celebration of life is planned for Feb. 13 in Seattle.

Mr. Peiffer was born Feb. 16, 1948, in Washington, the son of Leona and Emil Peiffer.

He attended St. James School and Washington High School, then went to Mount Angel Monastery in Oregon. He moved to Seattle and had been working for MedCon at Harborview Hospital since 1992. He was known for his generosity to the poor.

Surviving are five brothers, Jim and wife Pat, Jack, Fritz and wife Carole, Tom, and Michael and wife Janet; and three sisters, Pat Morrison and husband Kent, Mary Jo Dawe and husband Peter, and Jean Hays and husband John.
