      COLUMBUS JUNCTION - William R. Hills, 75, of Columbus Junction died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006 in his home following an extended illness

      Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 in the Columbus Junction United Methodist Church with the Rev. Cathy Whitlatch officiating. Burial will be in the Columbus City Cemetery. Following the committal services at the cemetery a time of food and fellowship will be held in the church. Visitation will be 4 to 7 Friday in the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. A memorial fund has been established in the funeral home.

      Mr. Hills was born June 2, 1931 in Columbus Junction, the son of Addison D. and Margaret M. (Sheridan) Hills. On Nov. 14, 1948 he married Margaret Karyn Bell in West Liberty.
