William Jay 'Bill' Allred
William Jay "Bill" Allred, 60, of Washington, and formerly of Brighton and Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday, July 27, 2002, at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City, following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2002, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with Aaron Meader officiating. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery in rural Wayland. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from noon until 1:30 p.m. A general memorial has been established.
