William Lloyd 'Bill' Hayes

William Lloyd ?Bill? Hayes, 76, of Westminster, Colo., died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at home.

A private memorial service was Tuesday in Boulder, Colo. His ashes were scattered on Flatiron Mountain, at his favorite hiking trail.

Mr. Hayes was born Oct. 31, 1935, in Washington County, Iowa, the son of Harold and Louise Hayes. He married Tammy Peterson of Richland

Survivors include one daughter, Dawn Nahf and husband Blake of Beach Park, Ill.; two sons, Craig Hayes and wife Robin of Louisville, Colo., and Jason Hayes of Niwot, Colo.; three grandsons; three great-grandsons; two sisters, Gloralie Martensen of Longmont, Colo., and Mary Lu Paul of Brighton; and one brother, Bob Hayes of Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
