William Parker, 91, of Fairfield, died Monday June 3, 2019, at his home. He was born May 8, 1928, in south Moiniteau Township Cooper County, Missouri to Frank and Mary Baughman Parker. He graduated from Clarksburg Missouri High School in 1946 and married Shirley Ann Scheidel in California, MO May 9, 1952. She died April 10, 2019. Bill worked as an electrician

Bill is survived by one daughter, Teressa Parker of Fairfield, and 4 sons: Jerry (Tammy), William, and Timothy Parker all of Des Moines and Steven Parker of Fairfield, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, 3 sisters: Della Harris, Gracie Potts and Laura Cole and 4 brothers: Wilson, Raymond, Paul and William Parker.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 P.M. Thursday June 6, 2019, at the Richland United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Richland Friends Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held Wednesday evening 6:30 to 7:30 P.M. at Gould Funeral Home in Richland. Memorials for the Richland United Methodist Church may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 2066 115th Street, Fairfield, Iowa 52556.
