William R. Kleese

      William R. Kleese, 71, of Washington died Monday, April 16, 2007 in his residence following a brief illness.

      Celebration of Life services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 19 in the United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Bob Wollenberg officiating. Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday in the Jones-Eden Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Memorials may be made to the United Presbyterian Church of the Hospice of Washington County.

      Mr. Kleese was born Dec. 13, 1935 in Washington, the son of Ralph J. and Catherine (Coulter) Kleese. He married Karen J. Crone on Sept. 21, 1958 in the First Baptist Church in Washington.
