William Russell Davison

      William Russell Davison, 87, of Wayland, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, at McCreedy Home in Washington following a brief illness.

      Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 28, at United Methodist Church in Washington, with the Rev. Dennis Fox and the Rev. Julie Poulsen officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon, Friday at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will receive friends from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Memorials have been established for United Methodist Church or Hospice of Washington County.

      Mr. Davison was born March 27, 1918, in Washington County, to William Roy and Eva (Wagner) Davison. He married Helen Wells on June 1, 1941, east of Brighton.
