William W. (Canady) Yeater

COLUMBUS JUNCTION - William W. (Canady) Yeater, 69, of Muscatine, died Friday, March 7, 2008, in his home.

      Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, in the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction. Burial will be in Indian Creek Cemetery. Following the committal services a time of food and fellowship will be held in the Fruitland Community Center. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established.

      Mr. Yeater was born Oct. 7, 1938, in Tucson, Ariz., the son of Norman Lee and Geraldine Yeater. He married Mona Fern Hansford on Oct. 8, 1959 in Muscatine. They later divorced. He later married Mary Jane Huro on Feb. 28, 1975 in Fort Worth, Texas.
