Willis 'Bill' Shepherd
Willis "Bill" Shepherd, 56, of Washington died Friday, Aug. 10, 2007 in the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics following a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15 in the Beatty Funeral Home on Washington with the rev. Brian Gentz officiating. Burial will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial fund has been established.
Mr. Shepherd was born June 28, 1951 in Washington, the son of Max Hyde and Marie Jane (Cocayne) Shepherd.
