Willis 'Burl' Lamm March 29, 1923 - January 8, 2004

Willis "Burl" Lamm, 80, of Keosauqua, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004 at the Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

      The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 12, at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with the Rev. Larry Wagner officiating. Burial will be at the Forest Home Cemetery. Open visitation will be Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m., with family receiving friends one hour prior to the service on Monday. A memorial has been established.

Survivors include three daughters, Joyce and her husband William McIntosh of Keosauqua; Patti and her husband John Cole of Mt. Pleasant; and Darla and her husband Ralph Meyer of Burlington; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

      In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and one sister.
